My Story

I had my heart broken, too.

The About Page is the most important page on your website. And often the hardest one to write because many of us are not comfortable with putting ourselves into the spotlight. On your About Page you talk about you and your business. The About page is not a sales pitch for your services or products, it’s rather where your potential customers or clients get to meet you. Writing about yourself on your About Page doesn’t mean that your business isn’t client-focussed, it just means that you are a real person that customers and clients can connect with. This is where you start building trust.

You do not need to spill your guts on your About Page but share as much about your personal journey and how you got to where you are today as you are comfortable with.

Personal information helps your clients relate to you and that is important when you are your business. Tell them about your hobbies, where do you live and do you have kids and/or pets? Share at a level that you are comfortable with, for instance if you don't want to mention your city, use the state or region.

Why work with me?

Include any credentials you picked up on your own journey. Share about your professional achievements and background, list any degrees here or past employment information as it relates to your business now. This is all about establishing credibility and authority.
